What to include
Please identify the copyrighted work, provide the exact Flash Beta URL where the material appears, describe the material that should be reviewed and provide a reliable method of contacting you. If you are acting for a rights holder, explain your authority to submit the request.
Your notice should also include a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law, and a statement that the information you provide is accurate.
External downloads
Some Flash Beta pages may link to external download destinations rather than hosting a file directly. If the allegedly infringing material is hosted by another service, the fastest remedy may also require contacting that host or platform. Flash Beta can still review whether the outbound link should remain on this site.
Review process
After receiving a sufficiently detailed notice, the site administrator may remove or restrict the referenced material while the issue is reviewed. Incomplete requests may require additional information before action can be taken.
Misrepresentation
Copyright procedures should be used for genuine rights issues, not to remove criticism, factual reporting or lawful references merely because they are unfavorable. Knowingly submitting false claims may have legal consequences in some jurisdictions.
