Installing the PUBG Mobile FLASH early-access beta is straightforward when the APK is complete and your device is compatible. The main difference from a normal Play Store installation is that Android may ask you to temporarily allow your browser or file manager to install an app from outside the store.
Before you install
Start by confirming that the APK came from the early-access source you intended to use. Avoid renaming random files to make them look official, and do not install a package simply because a website uses familiar PUBG artwork. A beta can also be updated quickly, so make sure you are not installing an older test build by mistake.
- Charge your phone or keep it connected to power.
- Use a stable Wi-Fi connection for the download.
- Keep extra free storage beyond the APK file size.
- Close unnecessary apps before the first launch.
- Back up anything important before testing beta software.
Step 1: download the beta APK

Step 2: allow installation from your source
When you open an APK, modern Android versions normally show a security prompt if the browser or file manager is not allowed to install apps. Choose the settings option in that prompt, enable permission for the specific app you are using, then return to the installer.
This permission is not the same as turning off all Android security. After the installation finishes, you can disable the permission again.
Step 3: install and open FLASH
Review the installation screen, confirm the app you are installing, and continue. When Android finishes, choose Open or launch FLASH from the app drawer. The first launch may take longer while the game checks files, connects to servers or prepares resources.
Common APK installation errors
App not installed
This can happen when storage is low, the file is incomplete, the Android version is incompatible or another build conflicts with the package.
There was a problem parsing the package
This normally points to an incomplete/corrupted download or an APK built for a newer Android version than the device supports. Download the file again before changing security settings.
Update cannot be installed
If a previous test build is signed differently, Android may refuse to update it in place. Only uninstall an existing build if you understand that local beta data may be removed.
After installation
Do not judge final performance from the first minute. Games often compile resources and create cache data during the first launch. Test a real match after the initial setup is complete, then compare frame stability, temperature, storage usage and battery drain with your normal PUBG Mobile installation.
Should you keep the APK?
You can keep a copy until you know the installation succeeded, but old beta APKs quickly become less useful. Once a new test build replaces the old one, keeping several large APK files only wastes storage.

How to verify that the install completed correctly
After installation, open Android Settings and check the app information page. You should see the installed application, its current storage use and the permissions it has requested. The total storage shown there can increase after the first launch because games create cache and download resources.
Run at least one complete match before deciding whether the beta is stable on your phone. A first launch can include background preparation that makes the opening minutes look slower than normal gameplay.
Updating from one beta build to another
When a newer early-access APK becomes available, first check whether it can update the existing build directly. If Android accepts the update, that is usually cleaner than uninstalling. If it refuses because of a signing or package conflict, read the current beta notes before removing the older build because uninstalling can delete local files.
Basic performance checks after installation
- Check whether the game reaches the graphics and frame-rate settings you expect.
- Play long enough to see whether heat causes frame rate to fall.
- Watch for repeated crashes when entering or leaving a match.
- Check how much storage grows after downloading one optional map or mode.
- Keep screenshots of error messages if you plan to report a beta problem.
If the build installs but your problem is related to login, server eligibility or a closed test period, reinstalling the same APK usually will not solve it. Those restrictions are controlled by the service rather than the Android installer.
