Android players may encounter an early-access APK, while iPhone users see FLASH through Apple's distribution system. These are not interchangeable download methods.
APK is an Android package
An APK cannot be converted into a legitimate iPhone app by renaming the file or using an online converter. iOS applications require Apple's signing and distribution process.
What pre-order means on iPhone
An App Store pre-order or expected-release listing lets Apple associate the app with your account before public availability. It does not necessarily mean the same beta build being tested on Android is available for iOS.
Could there be an iOS test?
Yes, publishers can use approved Apple testing systems, but users should only trust a method linked by the publisher. Avoid websites that ask you to install unknown configuration profiles or provide Apple ID credentials for “instant FLASH beta access.”
Why platform timing can differ
Android and iOS have different review, signing and distribution processes. A test may begin on one platform first even when both platforms are planned for the final release.
What iPhone players can do now
- Keep the official App Store listing saved or pre-ordered where available.
- Follow official PUBG MOBILE channels for iOS testing announcements.
- Do not download Android APK files to your iPhone.
- Keep enough storage free for the final installation and later resources.
Current public launch information
The official FLASH page continues to point to a November 2026 launch window. The exact store availability shown to you can depend on region and may be updated before release.
See our main PUBG Mobile FLASH iPhone guide for the latest iOS overview and pre-registration instructions for both mobile platforms.
Why Android screenshots do not prove iOS beta availability
A creator showing an Android early build only proves that an Android build exists for that tester. iOS distribution can follow a different timeline and method. Wait for an Apple-compatible route published by the game rather than assuming the same file can be sideloaded.
Protect your Apple account
No unofficial website needs your Apple ID password to “activate” a normal pre-order. Use the App Store interface on your device, and avoid profiles or certificates from unknown sources that promise to bypass the official release path.
What to check on launch day
- The developer/publisher shown on the App Store listing.
- The device and iOS compatibility shown by Apple.
- The download size displayed for your device.
- Available free storage before installation.
- Whether automatic download is enabled for pre-ordered apps.
