PUBG Mobile FLASH System Requirements: What Your Phone Needs

What is known about PUBG Mobile FLASH device compatibility, and how to judge whether your Android phone is ready for the early-access beta.

PUBG Mobile FLASH System Requirements: What Your Phone Needs

PUBG Mobile FLASH is being built for more devices and a lighter initial installation, but there is an important difference between that goal and a fixed minimum-spec list. Until the publisher publishes a detailed universal specification for the current build, it is better to judge compatibility using the official store listing and the beta installer on your own device.

What the official listings emphasize

The product description focuses on broader device support, optimized performance and reduced initial storage pressure. That suggests FLASH is intended to be easier to start on phones where the full collection of PUBG Mobile resources can be heavy.

Android version

The current beta APK itself provides the final compatibility check. If Android refuses the package because the operating system is too old or the CPU architecture is unsupported, do not try to bypass that check with modified files.

RAM and processor

More memory and a faster chipset normally improve game stability, but frame rate also depends on thermal limits, background apps, graphics settings and the exact build. Close heavy background apps before judging whether FLASH performs well.

Storage

Keep more free storage than the download size. Installation requires temporary space, and optional maps, modes, updates and cache files can increase usage after the first launch.

How to test your device properly

  1. Restart the phone before the first serious test.
  2. Let the game finish all initial preparation.
  3. Use the same graphics preset for several matches.
  4. Watch frame stability, not only peak FPS.
  5. Check temperature and battery drain after 20–30 minutes.
  6. Compare installed storage before and after optional content.

We will update this page when more exact public requirements are confirmed for the stable release.

Why a single minimum-spec number can be misleading

Two phones with the same amount of RAM can perform very differently because their processors, storage speed, cooling and software load are different. That is why a practical compatibility test is more useful during beta than repeating an unconfirmed minimum RAM number.

What matters most for a battle-royale game

CPU and GPU: these affect frame rate, rendering and how quickly the game can handle a busy fight. RAM: low memory can cause background apps to close or the game to reload. Storage speed: slow storage can affect loading and resource preparation. Thermals: a phone that overheats can reduce performance after several minutes even if the first match looks smooth.

Network requirements

A lightweight installation does not remove the need for a stable connection. Ping, packet loss and Wi-Fi quality can make gameplay feel bad even when the phone itself is powerful. Test performance and network separately so you do not mistake connection problems for device incompatibility.

Recommended preparation for lower-end phones

  • Restart before testing a new beta build.
  • Leave several gigabytes of general free space where possible.
  • Disable battery-saving modes that heavily limit game performance during a test.
  • Start with conservative graphics settings and increase them gradually.
  • Download only the maps and modes you intend to test.

When we will add exact requirements

Once the publisher provides a stable public requirement table for FLASH, this page can be updated with those exact values. Until then, we prefer not to invent a minimum RAM or chipset specification simply to fill a search result.

About accuracy: Beta availability, regions and release schedules can change. We recommend checking the linked official publisher/store source before installing or registering.
